Financial Account Data Access Authorization

1. What You Are Authorizing

• You authorize Shekl, through Plaid, to access your bank account and credit-card data, including account identifiers, balances, and transaction history.
• For investment and brokerage accounts you link, you authorize Shekl, through Plaid, to access your holdings (securities, quantities, prices, market values, and cost basis where available) and your investment transaction history (such as buys, sells, dividends, interest, fees, and transfers).
• For credit cards and loans you link, you authorize Shekl, through Plaid, to access liability details, including interest rates and APRs, statement balances, minimum payment amounts, and payment due dates.
• You authorize Shekl, through Plaid, to access your account and routing numbers. We do not retrieve these unless and until you use a feature that requires them (for example, printing checks or preparing a payment), and we will never move money from your accounts without your explicit instruction.
• You authorize Shekl, through Stripe and Square, to access your sales and payment data, including transaction history, payouts, and related records.
• You authorize these providers to act on your behalf to retrieve and transmit this data to Shekl on a recurring basis until you disconnect the account.

2. Why We Access This Data

We use this data to generate, maintain, and improve your cash-flow forecasts and related analytics — including statements, runway, alerts, and investment-account activity views — and to operate, secure, and support the Service. We access only the categories of data reasonably necessary for these purposes. We retain connected data for up to 24 months and then delete or de-identify it, as described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Use of De-Identified and Aggregated Data

We may create aggregated and de-identified data from connected data that does not identify you or any individual, and may use it to develop and improve our forecasting models and for other lawful business purposes. We will not attempt to re-identify this data.

4. Role of Plaid and Other Providers

We use Plaid to securely connect your accounts. Plaid processes your information under its own privacy policy, available at [https://plaid.com/legal/#end-user-privacy-policy]. Stripe and Square likewise process data under their own terms. To generate forecasts, your connected data is also processed by our AI provider, Anthropic (provider of the Claude AI models), acting as our service provider. Your connection through these providers is also subject to their consent screens.

5. Revoking This Authorization

• You may disconnect any linked account at any time in your account settings. This stops future data retrieval from that account and revokes the connection at our data provider.
• Disconnecting may disable or reduce the accuracy of your forecasts.
• To request deletion of data we hold, contact privacy@shekl.ai, as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Your Representations

You represent that you are authorized to link each account and to grant this authorization, and that the information you provide is accurate. Handling of your data is further described in our Privacy Policy.
